Continuing exclusively on Trouble is the brand new
second series of hit US science
fiction thriller Kyle XY.
This show
follows the exploits of an amnesiac
teen with special powers (Matt
Dallas) who is taken in by social
worker Nicole Trager (Marguerite
MacIntyre) and her family.
Recent episodes have seen the teen,
who boasts supersonic hearing,
extraordinary reflexes and learning
abilities and doesn’t even need sleep,
start to learn how to control his
amazing abilities, despite continuously
discovering new ones.
Meanwhile, after
breaking out of the lab where she and
Kyle were created, Kyle’s podmate
Jessi (Jaimie Alexander) has been
rampaging through Seattle. Executives
at Madacorp, the company who owned
the lab, plan to exploit her innate
aggression to their own ends.
Kyle’s powers continue to advance
this week when he unexpectedly
discovers another astonishign talent.
When Stephen Trager, Nicole’s
husband, receives word his estranged
father is in a coma after suffering a
stroke, he decides to visit him to try
and make amends.
Kyle, who joins
Stephen at the hospital, he realises he
can read the old man’s mind. Kyle uses
his new skill to help Stephen and his
dad reconcile before it is too late.
Elsewhere, Jessi causes problems
for Madacorp boss Ballentine. The
female prototype is already getting
used to her new life, but much to the
horror of Madacorp executives her
bloodlust seems to be diminishing.
Jessi has been developing human
feelings, including empathy, for the
first time since breaking free from her
pod. Ballentine demands she is
|brought in for ‘re-booting’.
The second series of this fantasy
drama is proving to be just as
compelling as the first, and fans will be
happy to hear there are still plenty of
shocks in store, only on Trouble.
